Thanks for a Great Event!

Thanks to all participants in the 2009 BC Youth Congress and to our generous sponsors for helping create an incredibly successful event. More than 85 BC youth aged 16 to 29 attended the Youth Congress on February 18 at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre. Participants came from 35 communities across the province: Tumbler Ridge and Chetwynd in the North; Cranbrook, Kimberly, Golden and Grand Forks in the Columbia Basin; Victoria, Qualicum Beach and Port Alberni on Vancouver Island; Penticton in the Okanagan; and Powell River and Halfmoon Bay on the Sunshine Coast.

The Fraser Basin Council hosted its first-ever BC Youth Congress on February 18 in Vancouver.
