Mentorship / Community Energy Resources

There are four steps in the application process:

Step 1: FBC reviews application for completion and eligibility

Step 2: FBC submits each completed, eligible application to Advisory Committee for review

Step 3: Advisory Committee provides comments on operational and technical merits of application

Step 4: FBC reviews the application and related Advisory Committee comments and decides whether or not to approve the application.

RCI application process

Please Note: If the application is successful, FBC and the proponent negotiate a contribution agreement for the delivery of RCI funding support for the project. (See attached contribution agreement template outline). As part of the RCI contribution agreement, proponents will be requested to provide interim and final reporting for the project. In addition, proponents will be required to develop a publicly available Project Summary Sheet to help increase awareness and knowledge about community energy projects.
