Green Fleets BC Green Fleets BC Overview

BC's transportation sector accounts for 38% of provincial greenhouse gas emissions. Today many public and private sector fleets are stepping up to do their part in cutting emissions, reducing smog and combatting climate change. Green Fleets BC, a program of the Fraser Basin Council helps fleets meet their goals through initiatives on fuel efficiency and demonstration projects to introduce new technology and tools.

Here are two FBC initiatives:

	Electric Plug-In Vehicles: In partnership with other others, the Fraser Basin Council is currently helping a number of fleets pilot newly minted 100% electric plug-in vehicles. Read more.
	E3 Fleet Program: Here is Canada's first fleet review and rating program, offering public and private sector fleets the opportunity to identify and achieve energy savings and emissions reductions — and earn formal ratings for their accomplishments. Find out more on the E3 Fleet website.
