Sustainable Similkameen Strategy

The community planning process in Similkameen communities to produce a socio-cultural, economic and environmental sustainability strategy is now complete, with release pending approval by the Similkameen Valley Planning Society (SVPS), a partnership between Similkameen local and First Nations governments.
Smart Planning for Communities’ Southern Interior Facilitator worked with others, including the Regional District Okanagan-Similkameen and the South Okanagan Similkameen Conservation Program (SOSCP), on the project’s Planning Resource Team to support the planning effort and next steps.
