New Series of Workshops
Championing Sustainable Transportation

In the fall of 2009, FBC organized three workshops on Championing Sustainable Transportation in Small and Mid-Size Communities – each designed to address specific regional transportation challenges. Held in Vernon, Cranbrook and Vancouver (at UBCM), the workshops attracted over 150 participants from local governments, the provincial government, businesses, transit authorities, health authorities, NGOs and transportation-related organizations.

Participants took the opportunity to strengthen their understanding of Transportation Demand Management and to forge valuable working relationships.
