Our Work in the RegionsMany sustainability issues in BC today are first experienced, and best understood, close to home. FBC RegionsTo support local efforts for sustainability, the Fraser Basin Council has a regional committee and office in each of the five regions of the Fraser Basin, as well as staff working in other regions of BC. We are honoured to be part of many initiatives that involve residents, regional and municipal governments, First Nations, businesses and community groups. Sometimes a broad-brush initiative really comes to life when rolled out in a community or region. Other times, it’s by working on issues of local concern that wider sustainability issues and trends emerge. That can mean opportunities for collaboration, for the benefit of all.
