Program Manager, Flood Strategies

Are you looking to advance flood resilience and sustainability? Come join a team on the leading edge of collaborative flood planning and governance in BC’s Lower Mainland and across the Province of BC.

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the Program Manager, Flood Strategies provides management services to support the development of a Lower Mainland Flood Management Strategy and provincial flood strategies.

Program Coordinator, Upper Fraser

Prince George office | Full-time, temporary position
(to December 20, 2020, with possibility of extension)

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Program Coordinator, Upper Fraser assists in the effective implementation and administration of Fraser Basin Council programs and operations within the Upper Fraser region. This position is for an 13-month term of employment, starting in December 2019, with the potential for extension.

The successful candidate will be skilled in coordinating complex projects and working with a decentralized, multi-disciplinary staff team - and will be proficient in communication, research and writing, event planning and engagement processes. See our job description for details and how to apply.

About the Fraser Basin Council

The Fraser Basin Council (FBC) is a charitable non-profit organization that brings people together to advance sustainability in the Fraser River Basin and throughout BC. Established in 1997, FBC is a collaboration of four orders of government (federal, provincial, local and First Nations) along with those from the private sector and civil society. We work with people in multiple sectors, helping them find collaborative solutions to today’s issues through a commitment to the social, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainability. Our focus is on healthy water and watersheds, action on climate change and air quality and strong, resilient communities and regions.
