FNHES Learning Lab: Climate Resilient Retrofits: Planning for Multiple Hazards

June 17, 2025 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join the Fraser Basin Council’s First Nations Home Energy Save Program on their next free one-hour Learning Lab on June 17 at 12 noon and explore new tools for climate resilient retrofitting!

Guest speakers from the National Research Council of Canada and Partners for Action, will give an overview of their Climate-Resilient Retrofits Database and the research behind it. You’ll have a chance to try out the database and learn how it can be used for project planning.

The database is for housing managers, home owners and contractors to:

  • Explore the potential impacts of climate change on buildings,
  • Make informed decisions about retrofitting for multiple hazards, and
  • See which measures may conflict or go well together.

Learning Labs provide an opportunity to learn and engage in conversation with a community or industry speaker in a relaxed setting. The session will feature a live demonstration of the database, followed by a Q&A period. Please bring your questions!
