At the NWR’s 2024 “Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience” workshop, transitioning industries such as forestry toward more sustainable practices was identified as crucial for long-term climate resilience in the Nechako Watershed. Our Annual Meeting will take a closer look at the forest landscape planning, projects and shared governance in the watershed.
